What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Yep. The two mounts for the recovery boards are a few years old, having made them for my old Crosstrek.

The two antenna mounts were recent creations; drawn up on adobe illustrator, briefly rendered in TinkerCad, then sent off to SendCutSend for waterjet, bending, and powder coat.

Just don’t buy the bed nuts from Cali Raised LED. Half my order wasn’t threaded, covered in metal shavings and dust, incorrectly sized holes created, or a combination there of.

 

I think I have it saved, but can’t confirm if I’m being received or are transmitting correctly. Would need to spend some time with someone to verify freqs and codes.

 

Next time try turning up the volume on the phone itself. I bet that fixes it.

Well today I got to vent about TacomaLifestyle and had to publicly call them out on here to FINALLY get a response from them (But still no resolution). Because emailing them repeatedly didn't seam to work... Productive day I guess?

 

Hey Carson, I got your calls and text's. There's no need to move this conversation behind closed doors. We tried private communications with the multiple cancellation emails I sent prior to this. Please send me a prepaid return label for the item I have repeatedly tried to cancel, and issue a full refund. You can wait until the item arrives back to you to issue payment. that's fine..

Paragraph 2 from my last reply in that thread cover's what I'd need to have this "fixed asap." Thank's. I'm actually really looking forward to being able to just shut up and go away.

There was also a part in there about a different order that I have with you, that is weeks behind to ship, and I would like to cancel that order too so that I can go with a different vendor. (Before you ship it to me this time please, I REALLY do not feel like paying restocking fee's.)

Sedona is an amazing place. I purposed there a couple of years ago. Cant wait to go back.

 

I did. IPhone 11 Pro. No change. Made sure phone output paired to the truck of course. Nav is also hard to hear, like too low to be audible. On the flip side, music streaming works great, good volume range as well as with ordinary radio stations.

I ordered the stuff in April, and then tried to cancel my order. They ignored every email I sent, and finally shipped the item after I tried to cancel my order multiple times.

They ignored me, then I made a fuss, and that prompted them to actually do something.

The problem with the item is I decided I did not want it, before it was ever manufactured.

 

Did you adjust the settings on the head unit? There’s settings for both call volume and nav volume. Call volume is accessed someplace weird like messages>settings, not regular vehicle settings on my HU, if I recall correctly

general>audio settings>Automatic sound leveliser
see if that helps?

Menu>setup>Phone>sound settings>in-call volume

If there is a buzzing during the call once you adjust the volume then there’s a thread that fixes it… I’m just low tech and don’t know how to link it. Look up buzzing while on a call.

 

Drove it two miles to Lowe’s and saw this in the parking lot! Looks like it’s been there for awhile and not close enough to the sidewall thread.

I might just pull it out. My Psi has been steady…
