    Not sure what you mean, I'm pretty sure the actuators can only be installed one way.

    There's no change when I switch the fan from blowing in the face or on the feet.

    Oh yea if you didn't get the little levers that move the doors back in the right place it won't work properly.
    That's the best picture I have of the actuators.

    It's not working right. If I put the whole dash back in place, will I still be able to access this actuator?

    Reserected from the dead.
    That is some low buck insulation tape. Since those parts get cold, in humid environments they will sweat and drip water droplets. It there to keep the "cold" from traveling and causing other parts to develope condensation. It would be good to find something similar to wrap those parts with.

    If you in the desert, you will most likely never miss it.

    Unfortunately I put it all back together without that insulation tape. Hopefully it will last a few years. I don't want to do this again any time soon.

    You can get to the actuators, not sure about the timing plate.
