They have the topper without the tent but no mid rise. Can add beef bars to it to though..

I’m contemplating on getting one right now. Went yesterday to view them in person. Very tempting

I’ve got an ikamper on my smartcap. My setup works well

ikampers are well worth their price + are very well built imo. Had the mini on my 2020 rav 4 before swapping into the taco & loved it. Camped all over the US in all sorts of weather & always slept like a baby.

side note- what bed stiffeners do you guys run (if any)?

I feel your pain with your search. It took 6 months of looking and then just random dumb luck on Marketplace to find a used shell locally. I didn't care about brand or necessarily features.

I felt like I won the lottery. I was THIS close to placing an order for a new one.

I went through the same search and ended up ordering a new ARE CX, but ended up getting a lemon with a crazy amount of leak. I gave up and ended up ordering a Topo Toppers Mesa

3 inch lift heavy duty springs, skids and sliders, on board air, custom desert pin stripes.
I have a cement DCLB and found it damn near impossible to find a used paint matched topper for mine. I got lucky and found a black ranch fiberglass topper on craigslist for about 1500. And in the DFW area long boys aren’t nearly as popular so it had been posted for awhile and I was able to snag it for about 1300. Now the black and cement has grown on me, maybe end up wrapping the shell matte black.

Looks good! You lucked out w black, anything else (other than your truck color) probably wouldn’t look so good.

The crazy thing I found was how much wider the 2nd generation was.
