If i had known trade school wasn’t the only way into hvac i would of gone differently. But then again I ended up where im at because of contacts i made in trade school

 

Ammonia HVACR shops have tons of welders. Because every thing is black pipe

 

Although I'd be making great money as a welder has I taken that gig I was offered out in Madera.

But hell no to driving half an hour each way to work.

Yeah my freelance career stint right out of school was jump started via contacts I made directly through an instructor I was close with. And other jobs through fellow student connections. The networking through school was what made it worth something

Yes and no. Although I doubt 3rd gens have a 27yr old spare, there is some logic to using an aged spare tire if you use it as intended. The tire is fairly well protected from the weather and nos t carry a load to creat a flat spot or other weird defects. The tire should be used to drive directly to the tire shop to have your flat repaired replaced. Just like the donut spare you find in compacts and sedans, yet people will drive on them for weeks/months/years which is incredibly stupid.

Back I'm my day, people would call the cops on suspicious vehicles in neighborhoods, businesses would kick you out of their parking lot, you had to drive way outta town to find a place to sleep.


And it was uphill both ways

 

I hate to say it because I don't agree, but it makes sense. From running a small business perspective, phone calls, on average, are a huge time sink and it's so much faster to fire an email back compared to listening to some Joe blow prattle on about the price of tea in china
