Good morning Jon, Mark and Rob, and to @RustyGreen and @FastEddy59 too. Hope it’s a great Wednesday for you guys!

Since it is Wednesday, it’s old guy adventures day. Mike and I are headed out in a few, not going back to Blakley like we planned due to forecast bad weather today. Instead we are staying local to get rained on or struck by lightning lol. Headed back to Fort Pickens instead. Will post up rainy pictures later.

They’ve just added a flash flood watch to the weather so we might get washed away too.

They have been calling for strong thunderstorms for 3 days now, we’ve not had any storms and received about .15” of rain  Today may be the day! if you don’t hear from me we chose poorly

Good morning guys! We survived yesterday! It was pretty cloudy when we left the house but by the time we got to the beach it was blue sky and sunshine all day, very hot and humid though, glad for the offshore breeze. Good day at the fort with a surprise air show by the Blue Angels doing practice for their 4th of July air show. Here are some teasers, will get more pics and a mini trip report up soon.

Good evening guys, hope it was a good day for you. Internet is finally back up and stable so I’m plugged into the Matrix again.

Crazy weather day today for us. Pensacola the city I live near got hammered with 15+ inches of rain in 6 hours last night, flooding, tornados, we had a serious thunderstorm and heavy rain for several hours but nothing like that. I didn’t know anything about it until I read the news this morning. About 0800 storms fired up again with my county taking the brunt of it this morning. Flash flooding, tornado or straight line winds in the north end of the county for us this time. Cleaned up blowdown here after the rain stopped.

All good at my house and the kids house.

Another round of storms expected late tonight :goingcrazy:

    Good morning guys :hattip:

Yep, all good here. The 3rd round of storms did push through late last night but nothing like the past 2 days. Sun is shining and no clouds this morning, looks like a normal summertime chance of rain this afternoon.

Let’s have a good “normal” weekend

NPS has closed the Fort Pickens area where we were at Wednesday due to flooding and no power from the storm Thursday night. Sounds like the campground and parts of the fort are covered in water, also no power out there due to the underground utilities being flooded.

    Good morning Rob :hattip:

Yeah, the flooding should dry up pretty quick, the flooded electrical may take a while to fix.
