How many miles are on your 1st Gen Tacoma

Hit 100K a couple months back.

 

Just hit 203,300.

 

May trigger 311k wheeling it somewhere in Wyoming or Montana in the next week

 

I am looking @ 94,760.0 right now, since I retired, I don't put a lot of miles on it. It needs an oil change which will get done in the next week or so.

 

TTT.....00 here with 126,000 on the clock

 

Just curious, what engines are seeing the higher, more reliable miles? 4 cyl or 6 cyl?

 

My 1988 Hilux has 277,545.0 miles on it, but hasn't been driven in years & the rain intrusion into the cab from the roof rails rotting out has pretty much sealed it road years.

 

I'm at just about 188,500.. I think 190k is a year or 2 away at this rate (done 450 miles so far this year). It got replaced by a new daily at the beginning of the year.

 

I just passed 290K. Retired now so miles won't go up as fast as it was when working, 50+ miles a day commute.

 

‘03 with 138,000. Bought it from the guy who got it new it 2003.

 

Now at 740,00

 

Turned it 311711 trippin in Wyoming a day ago
Original clutch still that the bearing is starting to chatter more, especially when it's hotter out

Define for us 'reliable', if you so do care.
For my rigs 3.4 engine there have been 2 non-routine repairs that needed addressed with a cost output for both of over 1200$, if the weepy VCG are considered a non-routine item? The other item was a 700$ part that failed almost in a horrific manner

 

What is your secret recipe for packing on the mileage!

Long daily commutes?
Cross-country roadtrip adventures?
Cruising in circles around the outer metro loop?
I have dabbled in all three of those!

356K miles, 1996 5ZE-FE, 5 speed MT, lotsa mods but the original engine. I love her.

 

Just turned over 70k on my 2003.

 

Just turned 298k last week! 2003 4cyl auto.
