    I'm a long way from working on one of the flying planes, but I've never touched a Radial (or something that BIG) in my life. Quite an opportunity for me.

    Sorry... feral horses are one of the issues I can really get on a soapbox about. They live miserable lives and multiply fast... and any efforts to help are stymied by people with big hearts that don't realize they are making things worse for the horses. Feral horses live in conditions that if they were owned we'd arrest and prosecute the owner and confiscate the horses.

    Good morning all.

    As a kid we had a small burger shop near where I grew up that was really cheap. Rumor always was that the burgers were kangaroo meat. What I remember is that they were good and they were cheap!

    Morning all:

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY also Cincy! :hbd:!

    Just being able to play around with that radial motor must be awesome Kurt, looks like something I could get into as a hobby.

    Been reading about the stash of 800,000 pennies that was found, they started going through them looking for any odd ones with numismatic value but gave up after going through only 300 of them o_O. Now they want to sell them for $25,000 o_O, by my math they are worth $80,000 at just face value, someone is going to be smiling after purchasing them. It may be a PITB, but I think I would check out all of them, and little by little get rid of them, even so, I think it would be worth some effort to make a quick profit of $55K.
    Another possibility, they may be looking for offers of more than the $25K they are asking, maybe that's their end game, get close to what they are worth without the hassle! :notsure:
    Also wondering, how do they know there are 800,000 pennies, wonder if they counted them, that's a lot of pennies to count, and considering that they gave up after looking at only 300 of them for numismatic value, wonder if they would have even taken the time to count them.

    As you can tell, I'm thinking too much! :D

    Years ago I bought a stash of "Wheat Ear" pennies; someone inherited a double wide freezer chest full to the brim of 1957 and older pennies. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I ended up with a 5-Gallon pail of pennies, which yeah, it is heavy as hell. :)

    Having lived/worked in the Australian outback for five years I ate plenty of kangaroo steaks ..... very lean and very tender, not to mention half the price of beef. Ate some emu steaks too ..... closer to the taste of beef.

    My math says they are worth $8,000 at face value.

    I doubt if even a coin dealer would pay face value for them. In order to redeem them, they have to be rolled, or put into a kiosk for a fee. As pocket change, it would take years to redeem 80,000 Pennies.

    I would like to try emu sometime. I guess one could eat anything if you needed to. I've had moose but I would like to try elk sometime. Been told it's better.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY @Cincy Tacoma ....
    :hbd::woot::woot::hbd::cheers:

    Just had kangaroo for the first time in October last year :thumbsup:. Washed it down with a cold Cooper :drool::hungry:. Had emu in the states and also in Australia. No it didn't taste like chicken :rofl::rofl:. Have also had ostrich and it was as good as emu. A lot to be said for trying different foods.

    Have a good day all.
