    Sadly, not much.
    It will be … $400.
It’s a ridiculous cost but I’ve had 3 canopies and never a windoor. I justified the price based on my cost savings buying the shell second hand.
But we shall see. Will post pics once I swap out. I may try to sell the 50/50 slider or just keep just in case.

$400. Installed is a fair price. Had to replace one year’s ago, $150. For the windoor, installed myself.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Windoors are great. I was uncertain on getting them but read several times people regretted not getting them so I figured better to have them and not need them than need them and not have them. Actually use them quite often and would recommend them to anyone.

I believe they charged my $275 a side from the factory. I’d for sure be happy with $400.

That is what I felt, especially because I have ALWAYS wanted one of these. With the 6ft bed, I have to crawl in/out so often. Also, the ability to pop it open in the mornings after sleeping in the bed is something I am looking forward to!

thank you very much. It has a 2.5” lift from icon on it. It’s subtle but I didn’t want to go too high for some of the fire roads I drive on for hunting usually have low hanging trees.

That’s exactly what I am trying to accomplish! What did you do in the rear suspension: icon rxt or add a leaf or other?

For now it’s an add a lead and a 1” block. When I lifted it I had a shop set everything up and they just ordered the shocks and the coil overs. So my truck had the Carolina squat…which I refused to even get in the truck. So he got the add a leaf and block that da and installed it…the leaf pack was a week out. Eventually I’m going to do the pack and assist air bags for when the tent is on the canopy. He claimed the squat was from the canopy and that the shocks are normally enough to lift the back along but he didn’t account for the canopy…I call BS but what do I know!

Thanks for that info! My 2008 DCLB, I had the AAL and Firestone airbags to account for the canopy, bed and drawers system and other weight. I think I’ll go a similar way when I replenish my truck fund!

Thanks for the update on the price. I really appreciate it.
I have been debating adding windoors to my canopy for years now but have yet to take the plunge. Even harder now that I live soooo far from an authorized Snugtop dealer.
Looking forward to seeing pics of your windoor post installation

Yeah no problem. I certainly know what replenishing the truck fund is like. Thankfully I can work quite a bit of OT at work. I really liked my Firestone airbags on my Ram 2500, I’ll most likely use them again. Did you have onboard air or would you fill them up with an external compressor? I have a Viair 400p that I’m considering mounting in the truck.

I didn’t use air compressor, I just carried a bike pump! But in the next version, I will have a compressor.

    So many things to buy!

Yeah, snugtop was purchased by the parent company of leer in 2016.
I bought my canopy brand new in 2013, so I imagine only the window styles from snugtop circa 2013 would work. Unless they have gone unchanged that is. Quite a bit for me to research still

The guy that I bought my used snugtop from had a replacement 15 degree (i think this is the angle of the front/rear slope) side window on order from the snugtop dealer. Come to find out that CG window supplies Leer, and was also a direct fit in my rebel. a bit cheaper (for him) since it came direct from the supplier, instead of from leer/snugtop.

I just got a used shell with new window that matched the other side.

Anyway my point was that maybe you could get a leer windoor installed in your snugtop if a leer dealer is closer to you..

That would be pretty cool if they are compatible with my canopy. I am gonna look into it. Thanks for the tip!!

Yeah that guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Shocks don’t give any lift in the back. Your truck looks awesome man!
