He broke his pinky toe a week before the drive. He broke his toe in the same spot a week after my son was born. He has impeccable timing.

At a normal vet, a splint is $30. I had to have the urgent care vet put a new splint on because he cracked his, and they squeezed me dry for $420. The splint lasted 24 hours before it broke again, and another vet charged me $390 for a new one. At least this one is beefier.

He’s definitely got that going for him. He’s my best bud and a great road trip companion.

That's crazy expensive! Maybe I should become a vet for my next career!

Found my first two scorpions last night. I signed up for pest control as soon as I could and they’re coming by this evening. I ain’t playing around with these things.

There's a huge vet shortage right now, time to hit the Vet School of the Virgin Islands!

but also its a hard profession with an insane suicide rate.

It also doesn't pay as much as you'd think.

My wife surprised me with an early Father's Day gift this morning! Ride Rite Air bags for thr Tundra! My sister also bought my brother in law a set for his 2020! They conspired with each other to set aside time for us to install them this morning together. We spent the morming wrenching together with my father in law handing us tools while we were under the truck, installing them on both trucks. I needed them for towing. He wanted them because he has a shell and constantly has stuff in his bed causing it to squat a little bit and not sit level. Install was pretty straight forward and easy. Took about 3 hours to do both trucks! My bro in law was stoked to finally have his truck sitting level with only 10 psi in the bags! The real test for mine will come this week when I load the dirt bikes and hook up the trailer!

Here is a pic of one side on my truck with 5 psi in them pretty the instructions.

I did, and went the weight distributing hitch route instead after more research. If you’re always towing the same setup with the same tongue weight it’s a great option.

Nice! I got the Firestone version on the dually & it makes towing less of a rough trip.
