I have a 2018 Tacoma trd 2wd. Stock height. I work in the oilfield and drive 150-250 miles a day down dirt crap roads. What’s the best suspension to soak up everything and will last? My gladiator stock ride a bit better, I’m wanting to long travel but I don’t want to lift the Tacoma. Thanks in advance

I want something super durable. Best ball joints tie rods etc. I drive 35-45k miles a year down rough roads. Washboard. Rocky etc. So I’m also wanting to upgrade the suspension to soak more of it up and not be so rough in the cab

I can’t really offer much help besides Colton is a good guy here.Only think I can add is you might want to look into cam tabs too, to hold the alignment once you get it set.

Since you're not asking for more lift there's no need to swap UCAs. The other thing I would probably consider is some new bump stops as well.
You shouldn't be burning through tie rod ends and ball joint in general. I wouldn't worry about swapping them out.

A cam tab kit is a good call as well.

What about coil overs? Do they make that big of a difference for the cost? I’m not worried about the money so to speak but I’m not trying to spend 10k when I can get what I want done for 5k if that makes sense

For the average Joe the upgrade to a performance suspension is going to be the biggest improvement in ride. However, going from a $2,500 suspension to a $10,000 suspension won't be a massive upgrade for you, unless you think you need to drive down rough roads at 80mph... When you get a chance give me a buzz over here at Hotshot Offroad! We can certainly help you talk through every question you may have, as well as provide options available. 406-936-0206

That said, if you want to keep the discussion here on the thread that's cool too!
