Didn't realize how heavy the supercharger seems to be.
The box is pretty big and 80 lbs and the fit kit is in a separate box.
I have an install scheduled for tomorrow and the dealer service rep asked me not to open the boxes.
I guess they've had missing part issues in the past when people open and look.He also wants to make a copy of my bill from trdparts4u.com which is Toyota of Dallas for warranty purposes.
I'm pretty excited about this install.:)

Sounds like fun. Is it a 1 day install? Do you bring it in Friday morning and they get to test it out on the weekend?

I was told by the service rep 6-7 hours labor. This isn't my Toyota dealer. It's another Toyota dealer. My dealer wanted 10 and maybe more hours. The book says 6 hours. This Toyota dealer has done many SC installs. At least that's what I'm told.
I may get some snow tomorrow and it may be a significent amount which may screw things up a bit.

    Nice,

I wanted to do one too... Can you tell me how much it cost you in the end OTD.... including shipping and labor and all the BS... that way I have a point of Reference.

If you don't mind that is.

I got it from Toyota dealer trdparts4u.com on Ebay.
    $3849 delivered with fit kit,Iridium plugs,bigger injectors,belt,pulley etc..
Now this is the updated mapping ECU model for the '09s.
The '05-'08 units may be cheaper.
Labor is 6 -7 hours at $99 per here.
Dealers want anywhere from 6 hours to 12 I got from one dealer.
I have at least 10 dealers in a 50 mile radius.
    Ask around.

80lbs? The real reason you don't want to open it is because it could contain twice the contents of this box!
