Hi All, I have a 2013 TRD OR with 140K. Just replaced the original drums and shoes and springs. I now have a vibration while driving at 45+ mph (not while braking, just constant while driving). Prior to the brake job I has running smooth as silk on new tires/balance/alignment.
Is this likely an adjustment issue with something rubbing? I don’t notice any brake smell or hear grinding.
    Thanks.

A rubbing would be my first guess. Any odors? I do wonder if a drum can be out of balance.

I do not notice any odor. Had thought about the drum but have no clue how I would ever figure that out.
    Thanks.

Pull both rear wheels off, ensure the hubs are clean and there's no dirt/rust/etc preventing the wheel from mating correctly to the hub. While you're there, also ensure the hubs rotate as they should without any noises or dragging.

I’ve seen quite often new brake parts, rotors and drums not be true.

That would be the easiest low hanging fruit
Yes, my factory drums have little weights spot welded to them for balance. Actually had one fall off while doing new parking brake cables last year. Had to JB Weld it back on.

Id wonder if aftermarket ones are balanced or not

Will do. I cleaned them pretty good but will go over them again.

When I see a page from the factory manual it mentions a gasket - Whats with that? No one mentions it while doing a replacement.

Essentially its just a piece of paper cut to match the hub and wheel studs. Goes between the drum and wheel. I can only assume its to prevent corrosion?? I dont think anyone actually replaces them though

If the auto parts store had them stored standing up that's the most common reason for warping as they should be laying down flat in the box on the shelf or floor.
If you got the bargain cheapo drums could be an issue. They all have at least a 1-2 year warranty so exchange them and ask to see how stored as if standing up go somewhere else to buy.
As for balance aftermarket does not usually have tacked on weights they are supposed to be manufactured to closer tolerances - sure. No one uses the paper gasket except factory. Did the drum sit on the axle flat and did you torque the lugs to like 85ft-lbs. Recently did mine and used Advance Auto rear brake drums YH140819 with a 2 year warranty and no issues. Assume the brakes work correctly and were installed right. Assume you didn't beat on the drum too hard and long to get it off and damage a wheel bearing. Try exchange first.

Symptoms could be wobbling steering wheel, pulsing brake pedal, shaking or vibration.

I don’t know if it’s possible to mount the drum backwards, so the braking surface is on the outside. Then give the drum a spin. You might be able to eyeball it to see if it’s true. The best way would be to use a dial indicator. I don’t have one. I suspected some rotors were warped. I used a sharpie and a block of wood, held the sharpie on the wood so it just barely didn’t touch, spun the rotor, it was warped, brand new out of the box. I tried to get them cut, they went down to minimum and couldn’t get it true.
