Good evening everybody, it’s been a busy but good week that’s keep me on the go. Wednesday night things started to change.

Had a good rain Wednesday night that we needed but messed up my mowing plans for Thursday morning. Showers a couple of times during the day so I couldn’t mow later Thursday. I did get an electrical project on the truck mostly finished instead.

Internet at the house went down Thursday morning and was down until about 9pm, after a hour it was down again. A hard rain started Thursday evening about 2000 until about 0300. While it was a hard rain for us, Pensacola the city I live near, got 15+ inches in about 6 hours. They had a lot of flooding, tornados, trees down, it missed us somehow.

This morning we woke up to clouds but no rain until about 0800 then it dumped on us again. This time my county got the worst of it. A possible tornado or straight line winds caused some building damage in the north part of the county, flash flooding, trees blown down on the interstate shutting it down for a while.

Rain stopped about 1000 and the clouds blew away. No damage at my house or neighborhood. Kid's house and neighborhood are ok. Internet finally came up after noon and has stayed up. I spent the day cleaning up the blowdown and getting all the leaves out of the pool.

Weather alerts have started for round 3 tonight after 2300. Oh boy…
