Narrowed it down to these 2.

Tell me which one performs the best. Sprays light evenly - which has less “hot spots” if any etc. overall the most solid and reliable fogs.

Which would you buy or recommend so I can get a set ordered

    Tired of trying to decide.

Don’t want to throw a wrench in the works, but I wouldn’t choose either of those. I have had nothing but problems from multiple diode dynamics products. Their SS3 Max fogs caused my radio to have so much static that it wasn’t audible at all, and the remote lock stopped working from about 10+ feet if the lights were still on (with auto headlamps). The lights were nice at least in brightness and color but interference is unacceptable with such a high price. Not related to SS3s but their bulbs were also terrible in multiple ways from poor brightness, interference issues, falling out of sockets. Overall I just completely gave up on the lack of quality I experienced with DD. At least their return policy didn’t leave me high and dry.

I like some baja designs products but overall, they have proven they don’t know how to make an SAE compliant light. Their yellow (they incorrectly call it amber) is green, and it took years for them to finally fix their original SAE offering to have the right pattern. The “scientists of lighting” don’t quite seem to have the science down. I do run some of their white S1 flush lights as backup lights on my Jeep and I like them, but that’s a very simple application with no regulation to meet, just pure light in a flood pattern.

I come off as a fanboy, but i really like Rigid (360 SAE yellow). They have the correct pattern, correct color, and true quality in their products. The SAE lights they sell are not super bright but they aren’t supposed to be as a set of fogs. The lights are correct for the application. The price reflects their quality.

There are plenty of people who seem happy with their DD products, so take my words with a grain of salt and not as gospel. So it may be fine. Just wanted to share my experience. Rigid, KC, and VLEDS are the only lighting companies I’ve never had issues with.
