Ah ... hmmm ... now that you've done the water heater vent/exchange, I should start a pool on how long before it drives you nuts and you replace the dryer vent.
I'll take "before the snow flies." :)

No the siding is cut away to much. Just leave well enough alone.

I tried to avoid the 7 hour drive between Valdez and ANC (and the Palmer Hay Flats in the dark), since it was a shorter ride from Whittier (and kinda fun riding in your vehicle on the train, later paying attention to stay out of the railroad tracks while driving in the revamped combination tunnel). The Whittier Harbormaster was also on the ambulance and told me that about one car a month wrecked while bouncing in and out of the train rail slots. I'd take a week off in October for IBEW shop steward conference and get my annual eye exam, automobile dealer service, and shopping done. I did meet the shop steward from Shemya... He was obviously glad to be in ANC, didn't say much and didn't need to.

I finished it, yeah. Havent been able to take it out for a flogging though between work and the nonstop rain we’ve been getting.

    Morning.
    Coffee.

Thinking of a plan to assemble the vent box to my tank today.
Need to align and drill the end pieces and mount then glue the top and bottom pieces to make a structure. Then I can remove it and complete the assembly.
Might have to call in reinforcements ( @FlyingWolfe ) to get her butt between
the tank and chimney via crawling under the furnace exhaust.
I can get in behind there but, not sure I’ll have enough room to accomplish my task.
    That’s ok.
My task will make great reading if it goes south..

    Good Morning Stockers

Countin' and sortin' bullets ... bought more ammo cans Thursday. Have some space to fill now.

Looks like no rain today, so I'll cut the grass. Rain coming back Monday.

    Back to work tonight.
    Have a great weekend. :)

Good luck with your confined space construction.

I hope it goes smoothly. Just that bit of description would have me hiring it out. I'm claustrophobic so if I have to squeeze under stuff I am not a happy camper.

Well, my repacked water shut off valve leaked again and pretty well flooded underneath my sink. A bit of particle board damage but it should be fine long term. Tore it all back apart and repacked it again with more material. If this doesn't do it, I'm cutting the copper tubing in the basement and re-running it with pex.
