Yup. Did some googling. Costs more than the truck it's mounted on.

 

That’s why they charge what they do.
It’s a sweet unit.
I did light/med cars and trucks so only used one once with a another company at a multi car/truck issue.

 

I did some minor tow truck type stuff for my company when I was driving for them, but we just have some roll decks. Primary use was not vehicle recovery/towing, but they do the job well. The little kid in me that loves big trucks and equipment missed some of that, but I make nearly double the money and don't work for the shitty, garbage, moron manager that ran that other department. I'm happy with the trade.

Looks like the shell from a robins egg. They discard their hatched egg shells away from the nest to deter predators.
