I've been wanting one for awhile. Just not sure if it's another thing that I'll use for a week and keep it on a shelf until the batteries are useless.

It’s considered a Centipede. If I saw one in the house and it go away I would not rest until I found it and killed it. Hated those things!

Albany Georgia yesterday and today. Chattanooga tomorrow for a few nights. So far weve hit Gila National Forest, White Sands, a thousand tiny towns in Texas. Marfa, Austin for 2 nights, Bentonville for 3 nights, New Orleans for 2 nights. Grazed Destin for an afternoon at the beach before getting to Albany. Havent thought much past Chattanooga except that we have family in Nashville so well prob hit that for like 1 night and then over to Asheville for a couple nights to meet the UJoint crew and have them give the rig a once over.

Its been very interesting to find places to park/sleep/call home. BLM land and national forests disappear after ~west texas so its been a lot of RV parks and camp grounds. Its worked out well because we found some rad spots but it sucks to pay to sleep every night. For example there is an RV park in downtown Austin right in the center of the city, walking distance to all the good neighborhoods, the river etc. There is also an RV park in the French Quarter of New Orleans that is 4 blocks from bourbon street which resulted in us staying 2 nights instead of our planned 1 hahaha.

    Yup
Most my troubles have been two legged

But pistol on person and long gun in truck / camp

I can’t imagine a loved one being attacked and having it reported that I “tried to get help and made various noises “ but the bear just drug them off and chowed down

The report I read stated one of the neighbors eventually shot the bear. Deputy's found both the victim and the bear. Definitely always carry.

If you're in Nashville already the Lane Motor Museum is 100% worth the trip. Lots of really wild and rare cars there, some cool, some make you wonder "what the hell were they thinking?" ... 0 regrets making it one of my stops when I drove out to AZ.

Stuff that costs more than my wife thinks.
@Atl-atl you’re hitting some of my old favorite places in the Deep South. Enjoy the trip.

Added the saddle to the Remi. Think I’ll do a dot sight and be done (with this one). The wife’s probably already gonna feel the weight.
