Bump in the...garage

Yup. Already have in-wall speakers. And they sound pretty darn good. I think the blown cellulose in the walls works like poly fill. Or maybe my imagination.

Right now, I think what I'm going to do is something like someone suggested above. Put a structured wiring enclosure in the wall and run power and speaker terminals to the inside. I can stick with the Bluetooth amplifier I already have and just hide everything inside.

This could all change at some point so I like all all the ideas.

 

I am so glad I am happy with the stock radio in the vehicle if I want to listen to talk radio.

Since in the shop I wear ear plugs 90 % of the time

 

Not that anyone cares, but here's the mostly final result. Ignore drywall work.

Basically, used what I had and added the enclosure. It's not 100% what I was looking for, but I like it.

 

nice. i would've probably omit the banana plugs for space reasons, but it works!

Banana plugs were left over from the previous version. I could take them or leave them. Although, they do kind of hold up the amp.

 

I have an old Yamaha I been meaning to get rigged up in the garage with a CD player (forgot the brand)..need some cheapie bookshelf speakers. Wanted to get the garage as more of a workspace for some time but life happens.

Can't get a vehicle in the damn thing but at least I can work on my bikes or hide from the wife.
