Yes, the heat index has been brutal! Would start ramping up before the rain started and would just hang in the 105-110* range. Rain would come, cool it off, then start over again. More of the same for the weekend, just not as high hopefully.

As bad as the heat index is I’ll take it over that smoke. Those pics up there look nasty. Hope the wind shifts or blows it out quick for you.

Every year the Florida summer hits and I ask myself how in the hell did I work outside in it most of my 20's. I would work a 5-1 shift just dripping all day, come home and run 3-4 miles. Then to relax smoke 3-5 cigarettes. An odd time indeed.

Hi crew. Wish I could do better at staying in touch here but sometimes work and home stuff keeps me busy...and sometimes down.
Like a worst week ever at work last week. I was so darn mad, lost sleep Wed night and didn't go in Thurs. Anyways I got over it...for now.
Got the deck around pool finished, had to replace several pieces under the steps (frame).
Today I installed Eibach lift on my daughter's Tacoma. It lift right about 2" in the front and I made blocks for the rear about 1.280".

Wow! That's surprising kind of, I mean we had a couple of days here in Nebraska where it look a little hazy from it but that's been better than a week ago.

    :rofl:I confess :anonymous:
So I starts out to make them 1.3125!:rofl:
Then I realized (couple day project in spare time) that 3/8" dowel pin I pressed in there...with red lock-tight was too small:anonymous:
Well getting that pin out was a SOB and I had to clamp in a vise and pry up on the block...they weren't going to fall out! So after I cleaned up the booger up part to make them "pretty" again I ended up with that number

And FWIW, if we just call it a inch and a quarter block, it leaves the rear wheel well opening 1" more gap than the front. Factory the rear gap was inch and a half more than front. Then if there is any settling in front I think it will still be fine. Actually think after front end alignment it may sit a little bit lower too.
I looked at wife's truck that has OME lift from several years ago and adjusted alignment cams closer to what hers are set at. This is definitely closer than hers was pre-alignment.

Exactly! I have no idea how I worked living on concrete and steel from sunrise until 4-5PM 5-6 days a week. Or even the offshore days… water is not your friend in blistering Sun… which likely explains why I preferred night shift. The car thermometer said it was 102 degrees around mid-day… before index for the killer humidity.

Happy Fathers day crew. I'm headed to get a chainsaw today, I've taken down some massive trees with only an electric pole saw and a sawzall, now I need to chunk it up. I'm thinking of keeping the red theme in my garage. Thoughts concerns comments?
