    I've had a great Father's Day.

    Both daughters and their husbands arrived on Friday evening and hung out inviting a couple of friends over--they know our home is open for sleep overs.

    Saturday was a do whatever day for everyone...wife & I did our weekly grocery shopping and Brunch at Grotto's.

    That night was spent rearranging furniture, watching Youtube videos and playing games until about midnight.

    Sunday was an early morning for me.

    Set 12 cups of coffee to brew and spent quality time with my eldest...it happens to be her wedding anniversary today.

    Eldest & her hubby took off to Lewes for breakfast and shopping...they came back with a couple of gifts for me in addition to new razor kit bought yesterday.

    Youngest & her hubby bought me flowers, a well heart-felt written card and a t-shirt that says, "Rad Dad".

    It is truly rewarding to know our children have grown into wonderful adults who appreciate their parents--I tend to get emotional and my kids know it.

    I hope you Dads had a wonderful day to reflect on how well we did as parents.

    thanks for the kind words! i build (or at least every 6 months or so when i have time to) build model airplanes so i had the stuff to do it, i just really wanted to make a little diorama with the hot wheels tacoma and some 3d printed accessories i got off of etsy, and i’m really happy with how it turned out! it’s still a work in progress but i’ll have to show everyone on saturday!

    Good morning Delaware.

    I went to bed at 9:15pm last night...was really tired from late night Sunday + my internal clock has me up at 4:50am even on weekends.

    This getting up at 4:50am M-F has its setbacks but I do enjoy clocking out at 2:30pm during the workweek.

    Now that my wife has individual room chores each day, the work doesn't cease even after I'm done with my duty day.

    One consolation...I took next Wednesday off for my Bday and it will be my first visit to the beach of the summer. :)
