Planning on next summer. I’m looking into the ferry options from Washington. I’ve ruled out my first choice of driving through Canada.

There is no delivery anything where I live - the 'corner store' is like 5 miles away and has Hunt Brothers Pizza . . .
This forced me to learn to make pizza b/c I'm not driving 40+ minutes to get pizza
And I decided I would rather eat beans and rice most of the time vs some shitty whatever -

My Wendy's smells - like bad - like the carpet hadn't been changed in forever [eg. since you could still smoke inside]
I love spicy chicken sandwiches but once I set foot in there, the smell grossed me out and I had to leave

But the most wonderful thing about Tigger's is I'm the only one

Ha! And they said all that would fry my brain - jokes on them cause that was from memory too!

 

The ferry is a great trip. We did it down and back Summer 2002. Buying meals on board was expensive. We packed a cooler on the return leg and ate in our cabin mostly. There was a microwave available for passenger use. Take advantage of the park service ranger briefings.

I prob’ly won’t even get a cabin. Dogs aren’t allowed anywhere but on deck. I’ll make do with the hotel Prius

 

They won't let people remain on the car deck full time underway. Pets can stay in the car and they have car deck calls to tend your pets something like every 3 hrs.

 

Godfathers was a chain restaurant that offered pizza, pasta and had a buffet (in some). There was one nearby until about 10 years ago. It was the last of four that I can remember. It was a pretty good place, but I remember it for the arcade machines, specifically the tabletop kind… Pac-Man, Joust, etc.
