What’s the best option for side steps / running boards for a 2021 DC? I don’t want anything the will rust, corrode, fall apart after a few years. Appreciate any advice.
    Thanks

The stock OEM plastic coated aluminum running boards are great for protecting the sides of the truck from debris thrown up from the road. Should not rust readily. However, they are not good for access or egress. Getting into these 3rd gens is clunky for many folks. My running boards make it a little harder. Really act as a barrier. I do have getting in and out down to a science now. And the sides of my truck stay protected. My main priority. My 9 year old son actually uses them as a step to get into the back seat.

You need to decide what you want them for first.
