It's kinda slow again in the office. Figured I'd refer back to this.

    For the bolt ons:
    1. I bought the T-Rex Racing Crash Bars. I've opened the box and drooled on them, but weather has not cooperated for the install yet.
    2. Got the T-Rex Racing Skid with the Crash Bars, and the quality is top notch. Again, waiting for weather to be less soggy for the install.
    3. The Radiator Guard has been out of stock forever, but I saw they finally put some up for sale. I've emailed to see if I can get confirmation that it will fit the 2022's new radiator.
    4. Holding off on the foot pegs for now. I still haven't found anything I like better than the Knight Designs, but the price.... Ouch.
    5. I snagged the Pyramid flap thing and installed it. The frame was too wide so I had to force the square peg into the round hole. So far so good!
    6. I got the screen protector for the dash with the pyramid flap in order to justify the crazy shipping costs. Would not buy from that site again without hitting their free shipping threshold.
    7. I still want the fuel exhaust for the sound and the look. The Scorpion exhaust is a close second, but the price is basically the same.
    8. NEW ITEM for this one. The Barkbusters for my bike finally came back into stock, so I snagged a set. Now I need a torque wrench that goes low enough for them. :spending:

Luggage... I still have no luggage, but I'm watching for the GL Diablo Tank Bag to go on sale. Everything else luggage wise is on hold until I hit at least 1,000 miles on the bike. I need to prove to myself I'll use it enough to justify the expense.

    Gear:
    1. I adore the XD4. It's so comfortable! It is pretty loud, so I need to raise the bikes wind screen and possibly invest in earplugs. I'm willing to pay that price for the visibility and airflow this thing gives me. NGL, get a half a chub when I pet the helmet. :anonymous:
    2. The gloves are pretty solid. I've never found a glove with good protection that actually "fit like a glove" so as long as it's not atrocious I will get by.
    3. Boots... well the Icon Stormhawks looked pretty good, but were way way too narrow in the tow box. I'd have to go up at least a full size if not more, and at that point the clown shoe floppy toes would make them crap. I've been wearing my Keen hiker/work boots when I ride. Hoping to try on some actual boots with a little more protection at some point, but I won't buy boots online again.
    4. I would up with the outgoing model of the Klim Marrakesh Jacket from Motorcyclegear.com. Got it at a 25% discount, and it's so comfortable! It's a bit heavy, but breathes so well. I don't know how they magicked it together, but I dig it!
    5. Skipping the pants. I haven't found any that jump out at me and I'm in the process of losing weight, so I don't want to buy and then have to buy again if I get a little thinner.

The good news is starting Wednesday I have 3 weeks off. If the weather gets a little better I'll rack up some miles and try to get the bars, skid, barkbusters, and screen protector installed. The only thing that is a slightly higher priority is getting my bed rack touched up and installed so I can get my RTT back on the truck.

It's amazing what you can come up with in Tinkercad.. I'm trying to get rid of the front fender now that I have the beak on the grom but the monkey fork guard I was going to put on is backordered on one side.. sooo enter 3d printing:

@spencermarkd how many beers did you fit in the Navi? I was tempted to get a 24 pack.

@spencermarkd do you know any Moto influencers that have a discount code for Mosko Moto?

I've never seen a Mosko Moto discount code :notsure: They do like two sales a year and then usually a % off if you order in person at a rally.

If you have any interest in the BDRs or would like to support them, I know that Mosko Moto (and tons of other companies) give discounts for those who support (give money to) the BDRs. The discounts can be way more than the cost if you plan it out properly. I had meant to do that for the barkbusters and luggage, but didn't want to risk the guards going out of stock again.

Anyway, here's a link to their supporter page that spells out the tiers and what you get for each.

I should have mentioned that Giant Loop does a 30% off if you support BDR at the $100 level or more. I think Mosko is 10%.

If you have access to the GYTR tuner I believe that bike you can plug in and it will tell you the hours. A shop might rent you one and I think they were about $100 ,might be wrong.

Yeah. I thought it was pretty cool. Lots of good sponsors for it, and I love the idea of the BDR... for now. We'll see how they run it.

More arts and crafts today: used the cricut to cut out the common torque values on the grom. My plan is to put a sticker next to the commonly removed bolts (front/rear axle, triple clamp bolts, handlebar bolts, oil drain, etc) so I don’t have to look it up every single time.
