Unfortunately not great; last week they took the stitches out... I was expecting to have them pull them and sent me off with a referral to a hand specialist for next steps; instead, they pulled them, and the wound opened right back up. So now I'll be sidetracked with a journey through wound care (which is becoming a headache, because my health insurance apparently doesn't want to pay for it). Still dealing with a lot of pain, still can barely move my index and thumb, still got the numbness and what not going on, still crying every time I look at my wall of unplayed guitars

 

Can't like...tune to drop D and get a slide on ring/pinky? Hell, even in standard E tuning worx

Don't let this get in the way, use it as an opportunity to learn new techniques...when shit is all back and functional, bundle the new skillz in

 

Oh yeah, Im sure I'll get there soon; don't mean to sound all totally doom and gloom. Just need to get the pain down to a more tolerable level first.

 

Find a frequency vibe that numbs the pain...it's there, just find it

Albeit other freqs will exacerbate it...fight and find the positive vibe. You gotta grip the stick to find it tho

My sister got me a fender mustang micro for my birthday so that will hold me over

I'd be pretty frustrated. Especially with what you're saying with your health insurance.

 

I'm aware of them, but no experience. Seem to be well built amps, but also not sure if there's really anything special or different about them. For the right price, I'd say one would be worth a go; but they seem to be quite steeply priced new.

they are a custom amps so the price is about inline with boutique amps. They are building me a custom amp for a trade for a website/ marketing. I was curious if somebody here has played one. I am playing through a few suhr amps, a 67 twin reverb and a 800 series marshal. I asked them to build me a low wattage tube amp for blues. Let’s see that I get.

I have never used those amps, but they look good.

 

Trading services it tough. I’ve been burned a couple of times in the 20 years of doing web/marketing. I pretty excited about the whole thing. Their amps sound great. It’s just a matter if he nailed down what I was looking for. They said if it was not right I could send it back and they would keep working on it but shipping an amp back and forth sounds horrible. We shall see.

 

Still pretty sweet to get an amp that way I hope it works out. Yeah, I wouldn't be thrilled about sending an amp back and forth through the mail. But I will say, I have never had an issue yet with any tube amp I have recieved through the mail. It's all about packing it correctly.
