I've fixed a few tires with large pieces like you had. It's tricky, I've used 2 plugs in the same hole before but I would not be crazy about doing that on my daily driver. The one I did was a shop truck that didn't leave the site. You may want to consider a new tire just for peace of mind.

I have the aqua blue footwell lights from Vleds. I love them but wish the wire leads were a little longer. I got the lights stuck in place and found out I should have maybe mounted them off center of the footwells closer to the center console. The wires on mine connecting the two are a little tight which makes it harder to route the wires where I have them. As for the red map lights I swapped out the drivers side with a sylvannia red bulb, I like having a red option for me while driving and still the bright white option on the passenger side, looks odd when all the lights are on at the same time

I’ll probably end up installing my VLEDs at night so hopefully I’ll be able to avoid placing them where I don’t like them, assuming the wiring is long enough.I ordered the red ones too.

your last point is exactly why I went with the Meso dual colored ones, give ‘em a click and they’re all super bright white or if you know you’re driving at night and will need em on, click em to red. Really is a great design.

Yeah I went this route to see if I liked the red light more than anything, eventually I’ll switch to the MESO dual color mod.

I added the Fumoto valve, but I really like the redundancy of this design. Will switch it out next oil change thanks for the post.

Spent 275 on 4000k mi trip a couple weeks ago to Utah, most of it was going 70 mph except for in the mountains which was slower and then 75+ once we got back into friendly territory of Texas lol.

It's a bit odd for me some days between my two trucks, the Tundra version maps are more like having two more domes in front due to so much bigger ~ more LED's. Probably 3X+ bigger than the Tacoma maps.

Finally fixed my bubbled Qi charger!

Tested it to confirm it's still useless (lost 1% of battery after 15 min with my Pixel 7 Pro), and then disabled the pad. At least it should stay flat now with no power going to it. Wish the pnp aftermarket one was still available.
Anyways, pic of my center console finally looking proper for the first time ever, since when I picked the truck up with 4 miles on it, it already had the bubble. :bananadance:

I find that mine stay in red 99% of the time. I like having the option to switch to white but even at night the red is sufficient enough to see and it's way easier on the eyes

Do you know what percentages were used - front vs rear (or the same for both)? Windshield too? Used to live in PHX and 35+% wasn't unusual (some even went with limo tint up front). It really helped with the heat, but darned hard to see at night (still kept the windows rolled up when it was over 100 degrees at midnight o_O ). No need for the heavy tint here in the NW, but would like some more than stock.

Looks great and I'm going to add some as well. Just wondering what you went with and how your "night vision" is. TIA!

I'm sorry, but are you saying you spent $275 on gas to drive 4,000 miles? That's like 50mpg unless I'm misunderstanding

I can tell you mine are 35%...they match the rear windows. It was kind of a "trip" the first time I looked left to make a right at 5:45am...oncoming lights were barely visible.

Now that I know what to expect, it's not a problem...but that first time, wow!

Update: The PVC rod holder is too bulky to fit nicely with the GoFSR awning now that I got the awning mounted up. It was also covering the roof rack lights that we use... So I found these Rhino Rack Stow It mounts that hold 2 rods perfectly and they lock. Only downside is this will expose the rods to the elements. But for quick use or shorter trips its not an issue. The pic shows a test fit with a single rod with the reel still on, but we'll be breaking our rods down all the way when we travel with them.
