Back to work after a great weekend of riding. Will post pics later once I get them all on my laptop. 2365 miles in roughly 65 hours. Memorial Saddlesore ride done, Bun Burner ride done, Saddle Sore 2k ride done. Stopped by Pittsburgh at the start site for the Iron Butt Rally to see some friends who will be leaving out this morning on their big adventure.

I got the Givi top case plate mounted on the bonneville, now I can switch the box between the ebike and the motorcycle as needed. It's still a usefull rack when the box isn't on.

Not yet......I've ridden in 32 states so far and most of that was in just 2018-2019. All of those states on FJR1300.

Weather check on Friday showed a week of nothing but sun. Yesterday and today it has rained and been 10° cooler than predicted.... I think that paying weather forecasters is a form of charity.

Fork guards fit pretty decently :goingcrazy:

today I’ll sand, primer, and paint them black to match the bike. Not perfect but they’ll do until the back ordered part comes through.

Cost about a dollar in filament, too.

10 degrees cooler would still be too hot...

Just twist the wrist for increased AC. :p

We don't get that hot where I live. 100% agree that triple digits is indoor and AC on kind of weather.

Not bad for a pinch. The squared off design kind of clashes with the point of the hypermotard front nose, tho.

It's a bad angle, definitely does look squared off there, but it's more of a half-hexagonal design and IMHO actually works well with the beak's angles. I'll post some more pictures once I get them painted up

A few pics from my weekend ride.

    Our initial destination.

The next day we went straight to....

Here's the coolest dealership I have ever seen. It's seriously the size of a Walmart! Dealership for every brand except BMW and Harley Davidson.

My mileage in less than 48 hours.

IBR bikes. This old K100 is now a smart car diesel and gets 80mpg.
This FJR is identifying as a vintage Harley for Pride month....

My friend Chris Comly's Sportster ready for it's 4th IBR with almost 350k miles on it!

Gah, I missed out on a 2019 Versys 650 w/ full Givi hard case luggage, crash bars and 5k miles for $3700. Only catch being some extra work due to being a Louisiana titled bike (being sold from the original owner) and the clutch lever/left mirror was being held on with zip ties (which didn't bother me as I'd swap my Magura Hymec clutch on).

Seller told me I was 2nd in line, then never got back to me and listing is gone.

Oh well. I was hoping to somehow justify having two Versys's and selling my car, but it's probably simpler this way.

For $200 less I think you need to do a fly and ride for this, that'd be quite the adventure:

Molle panel on and the fork guards have been painted. They didn't come out the best, so I'll probably re-print them once my black filament comes in and make a few changed, but I am beyond stoked on how the molle panel turned out. Added in some braces and got it really rigid and functional.
