Should put it up in the Buy/Sell/Trade section, but you need 50 posts minimum to put an ad up there. Posting for sale content with under 50 posts in other areas of the site will usually get deleted by the mods and they might ban your account, just fyi....there have been a lot of scammers on this site over the years so they are pretty strict about it

Delete the post; mods require 50 posts to list something for sell and it has to be done in the appropriate section.

With that said, asking $12k for a vehicle that requires frame repair? Oof.

    For a year?

Then you'd know to post in the 1st Gen section.

Post there, or in the regional section.

Find someone to help perform said repairs versus going to a shop.

Yeah but yours came from NY, and has a rusted frame.

The average person does not weld much less work on a vehicle. Take that into consideration and many would actually part out the truck you have or sell it for less.

You're comparing your vehicle to those found in your area. Not to mention just because it's listed for "this much" doesn't mean it's actually selling for said price. There's a reason why it's still listed for sale :burp:

Hell I'd love have a hand in helping to repair that frame.

You pull the bed off and bring it as is. Bring your frame plates you want welded on.

I'd charge ya labor (bring food too) but it won't be anywhere near $4k.

    Seriously

I mean its bad enough being in a plane when someone farts or smells bad in general, but being practically ass to mouth with it...nope

I do like the idea of being able to stretch your legs out more on a flight though

If it's dry, I'd consider not replacing it. How many miles on that trans?

FWIW, we did not replace that seal on the trans I just swapped in. But I knew the source and the condition and history and felt comfortable in doing that. We did replace the seal on the output end (between the tcase and the trans) because they were already separated. It was an acquired tcase with an unknown history.

I'd love a CNC table with ability to cut tube for me...those are $$$$$ though

One of the guys in the welding section just got one that can do all that but it was like $360k.

Yeeeaaaa those tube specific CNCs are major money. Thankfully most of everything we would want manufactured can be handled by little machines, probably going to get a Tormach 1100 which is around 30k, plus the plasma set up you have (maybe with a larger table) for about 10k. Then a Tormach 8L (8" lathe) for around 20k. Throw in a shear, press brake, roller, welder and other misc big tools and I should have a fully capable machine and fab shop for about 110k. Looking through the books on what we pay other vendors, minus what material and consumables cost for the machines, I estimate we'll have the entire shop paid off in under 5 years of sales

I'm only able to fast track this cause I joined a well established 23yr old company lol.

Otherwise they'd all still be pipe dreams and I'd be drooling along side ya... I mean, I guess I'm still drooling, but only cause it can be a reality lol
