Would you expect your workloads (once you take over in another state) to keep you busy enough where you won't have to venture into other areas of manufacturing/repair?

Think it was about 250k. Tcase I already put on but that's much easier to take off after the fact than the whole transmission to get to this one. Integrity seems fine

An A340F swap is no joke. A lot of work there. Are you going to replace other stuff while you are in there. Like the flex plate and the rear main engine seal and the starter?

You are running headers right? If they are Doug Thorleys, the location of the collector makes a starter change very challenging and near impossible with the trans installed.

Oh for sure, one of our vendors that make our frames for the big equipment had to hire a welder just to do our stuff. We'll probably be big enough if im doing the machining we'll have to have a full time fabricator under me

Wasn't going to replace those, no. Starter is fairly new anyway. I have turbo downpipe so I don't even have to move anything

Went for a hike date with my friend and the Sentra overheated coming downhill lol

I think I probably did some serious damage the CVT, it was really jerky then stopped engaging entirely as I pulled off. Filled up the rad with a couple gallons of creek water and limped almost all the way home before I stopped to top it off again. Fun times :D

Yeaaaahhhh it was in the making. Like Zane said a while back it's pretty amazing that the CVT was still holding onto life at almost 200k.

I don't feel too bad ab it, I'm only like $450 into the car and I've driven it for almost 2 years now lol

Did the mounting holes for the skid, well concept that is; will need to slot them at the correct angle though for adjustment if needed

    20230619_122514.jpg

And after all that, realized I cut my square tube about 3/4" too short. It's ok though I know what needs adjusting now

    20230619_121751.jpg

What makes this job tricky is how small of a gap I have on the frame/vehicle side

yeeeeep. I already think I got my money's worth out of the car so that would be nice :D

I was telling my friend I should probably just pull it into the shop and start tearing it apart instead of trying to squeeze some more miles out of the CVT. I already got lucky once, I don't want to wait til I'm stranded stranded lol
