Building big fancy trucks to have fun and partly to impress other men wasn't at least a little homoerotic to begin with?

Curious if anyone lurking in here has a set of J59's thats looking to go to some F67's local in SoCal. Considering my needs for the truck, if the opportunity is there for a swap I might consider it

Figured someone here would have some input. Best way to paint a cage/tubing with a roller or brush? Been seeing some things on using hammered texture paint. Probably self levels and doesn’t show brush marks as easily. Open to ideas. Not going for a work of art. Just want something I can touch up easily.

No first hand experience. But Por15 has a chassis direct paint that you can get in pints/quarts/gal which can be brushed and rolled on

This. Select Chassis Black it’s like a semi matte or so they say. Direct to surface brush or roller.

I guess the coating depends on the climate / conditions you're in, but this is a technique you could use. Personally a 2k coating is what I recommend - 1k just basically keeps things from rusting in non-rust belt states.

What about axles? What kind of paint are you guys using for axle housings?
Preferably something that is easy to touch up. Was thinking rustoleum satin black, but I've had mixed results with it before

Interesting that he brushed the first coat and rolled the second. I was thinking of doing that and spraying what I can. Wasn’t sure how smooth it would be. I just don’t want to break this whole thing down to paint it. I don’t need it to be immaculate. Nothing rusts enough to worry about down here and I plan on beating the piss out of it. Just want to spruce it up a bit.

I use gloss since after you offroad once, it all looks the same.

You'll get a slightly thicker coat if you brush it. I'd do it like painting a house and "cut in" the joints with a brush and roll out the long lengths of tube if I were doing this method.
