Just noticed the center of my lower windshield gasket is sticking up like it has a little bow in it so now not seated on the windshield. Thought it may have been from having the windshield replaced a while back but saw on another Tacoma the same issue.

    Anyone else had this?

Not really a gasket. It's part of wiper cowl. Guess windshield istaller didn't install cowl cover correctly or broke clips on cowl cover. Which is easily done. Take it back to them.

Wait 6 years and it will be cracked and some areas chunks missing like mine. Becomes brittle .No leaks so far. 2017 DCLB .

Thanks folks. Though not "factory", from the comments, seems like it hasn't been a problem for others. Thought water could get in behind the dash/inside not knowing where it drains to.

The seal is made on the underside of windsheild.

Hey, mine is like that too. I just had it replaced a couple months back and was about to call the installer back out.

Mine is the same. Never replaced my windshield. Been that way since new.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
The gasket on my 2016 trd off road sits tight, no gaps.

My wifes 2013 Rav4 did that, and the dealer fixed it free of charge after the warranty had expired.

That gap is very common. And that wiper cowl is there more for repelling debris, not water.
