    Are they red raspberries or are they wine berries?

    We have red and black raspberries, wine berries, blackberries, blueberries and honey berries in the yard.

    But I'm telling you, I didnt like blueberries at all till I went there and discovered that blueberries actually have flavor. And its a really nice spot nestled on a hill in the valley heading down 67 towards harpers ferry. It's a pretty drive.

    Rubus Idaeus (Everbearing Raspberry)
    The same ones I grew up with on the farm... typically 2 main crops a year.

    You can choose from any number of cultivars these days that are supposedly best suited for one's climate zone.
    Hmmm... I wouldn't know.

    Tell you what, the plain old Everbearing are just about the easiest plants to propagate.
    Steal a small shoot from your neighbor (yank it out of the ground), plant it in your garden, done.
    In fact, if you neglect them, they're gonna get totally out of hand and take over.
    So make a boundary of landscape ties or something and eradicate any that try to escape :rolleyes:
