    if Disney taught me anything, if you get swallowed by a whale you just have to tickle it's blowhole and it will shoot you back out

    or, say fuck it and pull out a grenade and turn the both of you into mulch like that guy did in Jaws 3(?)

    @Ozark_RegCab

    Think I should go 1/2" steel instead on my skid?

    @m3bassman @eon_blue If you haven't watched Cameron's Deepsea Challenge documentary its really worth the time. Needless to say, no knockoff game console controllers are involved. He hit the deepest part of the Mariana Trench (Challenger Deep) on the record setting dive, 35,787ft. (Titanic is is around 12,500ft)

    The situation with the OceanGate sub is awful. Rewatching that Sunday Morning spot from last year (?) when David Pogue went in it did not inspire confidence. You gotta realllllly wanna see the Titanic to get into that thing. Hopefully they surfaced and can wait out a rescue, I'd hate to think of the alternatives. *I did see that there were some previous lawsuits about safe depths and other claims. Never a good thing.

    Naw

    If I bang them, I can always cut them out if they get fucked up.

    I would opt for a carriage bolt as my table can easily be precise enough for it but I'll need to adjustment on the skid for fitting up the rear mount.

    Bolt in the bottom bracket is for sizing purposes; plan to use beefy hardware for wrapping around the frame
