The Haltech setup alone is a couple grand right? I haven’t researched it very much but seem to remember being surprised by the website’s prices.

Have a friend dead set on getting the upgraded Magnuson supercharger when it drops but he’s not convinced with straying from the stock ECU.

 

It's about 2k minimum to have a pre wired haltech yeah. Gets about ~$500 cheaper if you wire it all yourself. The only real option that's cheaper is Megasquirt and while it isnt less feature filled it is a good bit less polished, it's nice to have good support and a large user base to turn to for help. Link, ECUMaster, AEM Infinity, etc... Are all more expensive

Yeah so $2K for the Haltech and $5000 for the Supercharger and all the extras. I guarantee I wouldn’t be able to sell him on that.

If I ever went for more power I’d go Haltech for the larger user base and more polished product.

 

Yeah the supercharger is like $3500 I thought though. Don't need larger injectors to run stock boost with a haltech but you do to put a smaller pulley on.

The lowest I've seen it in a while is $3795 and most sites don't add tax/shipping to it which isn't as bad.

I guess the 7th injector is a band-aid thing for stock setups? Not sure on fuel pump.

 

Whole point of the haltech is to eliminate Band-Aid garbage like the 7th injector and the fuel/time controller setups that were used in the past. The fuel pumps vary in price but the one I recommend is about $135 bucks to the door from summit Racing.

Yeah that's what I figured. So under $6K but probably over after tuning. Anyone that could tune it properly would likely also wire it themself so they'd save a ton.
