Ah, that makes more sense. And yes, definitely not wheeling an SUV that is worth more than some houses where I am from.

I'm not going to lie, I had to look up what a patrol was. I thought the GX was basically a Prado for the US market?

An 80, 70, or 60 are dream vehicles for me, and I would replace my Taco with any one of those. My problem is I like having a truck bed (even if it is small). All I know is I really want a boxy, off-road (mild) capable SUV, and I want that vehicle to have a Toyota pedigree. I'll likely get one of those 3, a new LC (hopefully), or settle on a Lexus here in the next few years (while keeping the Taco).

My opinion and talking outta the side of my head.

We will never have what we want in a new vehicle again. Auto makers and the Gov. will not lets us. You will have to go old school to be happy, which will probably cost you dearly if you want it bad enough. The masses want cool tech and all that jazz. Auto manufacturers build to that and then some. We, who want a certain, basic kind of vehicle. Are a very small niche in a group of billions. but it is nice to dream and hope like hell.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
You should look at an import 70. They import them frequently

And it'd be a good self retirement gift, just saying

Last Friday I threw a leg over my bike and briefly checked my phone before leaving the barbers shop to catch 2 older airheads that raced by. Noticed a text “I don’t recommend leaving” from my wife. It was sunny and 75 when I left an hour ago, how bad could it be?

I couldn't even imagine. I've done plenty of rain. And that's no fun.

It was exciting to say the least, fingers crossed I’ll get a new (and seriously discounted) roof on the house out of it though. Having thoughts about talking to insurance to get the Taco repainted too, not sure if insurance will help me out on that though.

If only. Although I think JT is trying to use the damage as a way to get his truck completely repainted because Toyota white paint.

If you need a healthy estimate let me know. Might be able to cover the cost of painting some panels with the PDR estimate.

New bus day! The diesel buses just get driven here from Alabama, but the electric buses don't have that kind of range, so it came on a flatbed

Any Recs for a shop to do an alignment in NOVA. Looking for a shop that can do a solid alignment on a newly lifted Taco. Looking in the Falls Church, Tysons, McClean area. I don't have time to go too far out. Anyone have a goto place to recommend that can do a good job on it?
