I think I'm maxed out at this point, so I'd just have to live vicariously through others for that thread.

37s/Allpro +2 kit with Rcvs has been treating me very well. Been dailying/driving to Utah and Colorado to wheel and driving home to Washington no problem still.
Couple of small things broke/bent here and there, blew a Tundra steering rack up so have been running a stock rack since with no issues.
Last couple trips i have bent a tie rod, and bent a steering rack bolt. Steering definitely sucks on these trucks and I am set on doing either Full hydro, or a steering box/double ended ram hydro assist this winter.

Sweet truck, simple and sweet, great proportions. As for that full compression forklift pic, did you drop it from the top of the forklift mast?

Well mine are on. Not a huge difference from the 35s on the street/highway. I have a bit more hammering on the upper wheel wells to go.

I already think they look small on the truck.

Anyone do a body lift in lieu of tubbing? Won't get full articulation that's for sure, but should be able to alleviate the inner fender hits on compression.

I dont think that would be very reliable. Could just mess with lower bump stops ect to better stop the tire, but nobody wants to give up what little articulation already exists.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I think we own the same dog :)

    5am typing means 5am brain.

Body lift, not spacer above the shock.

For the firewall I would absolutely agree with you, there's no getting away from tubbing there. However if the inner fender clears 35's then the increase of 1" to the radius should only require a 1" body spacer to achieve the same result no?

It's been 1 day, give me a couple all get out there and get you some. Florida here so not the greatest. I'll be on the west coast in September for better pics. I do have a CMR, fire wall is pushed back close to 4 inches, plus a ton of fun with an 8lbs sledge. More sledge time to come.

In the world of making things "fit", clear is a flexible word. Yes, to properly articulate 35's one needs to either swap out to something like a JD inner or get rather liberal with cutting and welding. If I can take a hit on 35's to fully compress my bump stop without the vehicle functioning as a bump stop, I'm happy.

I'll browse your thread further after work, appreciate the efforts and content.

37’s with a 1” bodylift. Still requires tubbing but fine for going to the mall

You're not wrong, but I'm not and most aren't rock crawling (actual crawling, not trails with rocks) and need full stuff at lock all the time. Not only that, but my axles are breathing a sigh of relief knowing they won't be asked of it. Anyone that needs to get to work in their truck the next morning appreciates this.

3rd year to Moab from Canada, first being on 33's and 2nd being on 35's with this past May going on 37" MTZ's. Have hit more or less the same trails each time (Hole in the Rock/Rincon/TOTW/Cliffhanger) and the difference from 35s to 37s is staggering. 35s can get it done, but 37s get it done significantly easier and am able to cruise much quicker over terrain. More people should consider making the switch.

How do you conclude that because someone isn't keen or ambitious to tub their daily that they have an incorrectly adjusted suspension?
