Bull Bar

I am considering getting this bull bar but worried that it may interfere with where the sensor sit on the TRD Pro grill. The website state might interfere wondering if anyone out there has this set up?

 

It probably won't as it sits below the sensor which is dead center on the grille. The bar doesn't come up any higher than SSO's (e.g., https://www.southernstyleoffroad.co...-hybrid-bumper-access-holes-for-20-heise-led/) and they don't interfere with TSS.

It looks like a cheap piece of shit but it probably won't break TSS.

Doesn’t look like it will interfere with either the huge oval sensor or the heritage/pro grille (whatever we are calling it) with the rectangle

 

yeah for $200 buck I don't expect much but it's only for appearance.

 

My son put one similar on his FJ. Looks OK I guess. And his does not have all that manufacturer logo stuff on it if you want a little cleaner look. But I have no idea who made the one he has.

Never understood these “bullbars”. I can see them being good for mounting lights/antenna, otherwise it doesn’t do any good. Approach angle suffers and it actually causes more damage in a minor accident with those things on.

 

I cant imagine paying 200 dollars to make your truck look bad.

 

The debate on bull bars aside, do you really want to buy something that's so cheaply done that they chose to photoshop it instead of taking pictures of an actual fitting?





Buy what you want, but you will be out some money if you buy that thing.

I'm with you, on the fence about it. Maybe I will just pass, just hate the cheap black bumper look.

 

Looks hideous and will not add beauty. Say clear from this thin POS that will also cause more damage in case of any front end collision.

 

Could always spend a bit more and get a stump bumper, looks good and functional.

Mine is aluminum and weighs only 45 pounds.

 

Don’t do it.

 

Put this up there with all the horrible bolt on fender flares that a lot of truck owners are putting on and running stock tire sizes with Plastidipped wheels.
