    There's a trailer shop as in they make custom trailers, sell axles (prefabbed or not) like around the corner from my house

    That'd be a good source I think?

    I'll give them a call

    I've seen TSC u-bolts split like a tear. It was strange looking and dangerous.

    Just had to ask cause even though the u bolt (clamped evenly) won't be subjected to that harsh of a force, I wanted to be sure I got something that would suffice in terms of strength

    Fucking 1/4" skid ain't no joke

    Makes me want to work up something for the transmission or something, though I haven't paid attention to the room/clearance there

    Transfer case and exhaust (from the CAT) are the two lowest hanging items...or were...now it's just the exhaust

    Yeah which is why I asked, so something that'll handle a leaf pack will be needed

    Plus they'll be clamped sideways like a C, not a U

    There's a reason why they do that with our sliders on the 80 series; they're held on via U bolts in the form of a C around the frame and sandwiched with a bracket like I made

    Looking at some Lexus threads of people swapping the ugly 2020+ GX grilles onto their earlier faces gives me hope that the reverse is possible as well.

    Clean, legit LS swaps will have;

    Head work, or brand heads (if stockers weren't used and ported to match), intake mani, cam specs cause who uses a stock cam with head and/or intake work? And wiring setup, brand style alternator brackets and other misc items, cooling system.

    Thinking he got it from a trade and it screams "let me out"
