I'm just trying to put together a roadmap for the next couple of years for my build (2013 AC MT), to help with budgeting and hopefully only buy once, cry once for most things without wasting time/effort/money. I do a decent amount of wheeling, but nothing too crazy. I'd take my truck on any road in Death Valley, for example. I am trying to make the truck bombproof without breaking the bank, and I'm not trying to go full long travel.

Right now the truck is on 33s with Icon stage 5 suspension. I still have some rubbing, and I'm having to deal with the alignment more often than I'd like to. Once these tires are done, I want to run 35s, which would also include regearing and lockers. Right now, I'd like to address the rubbing and set myself up for success down the road. I was just going to go ahead with a cab mount relocation and tub out the wheel wells and trim fenders before I saw the JD Fabrication lower arm pivots. I've been reading up on them in the LT forum, and 81Trekker's build, but was wondering if anyone had any personal experience/feedback.

And if I do go with the lower arm pivots, is there anything else I shouldn't overlook/forget? I'd also get LCAs, spindle gusset kit, and tie rod sleeves at that point. I'm a little concerned about upgrading CV axles and basically making the front diff the weak link. Any thoughts? Last but not least, how recommended is a steering rack upgrade on 35s? Worth the money? Thanks!

JD Fab is the only way to go. Decide what your budget is/or what the top of it is then call Harry and I will guarantee you he won't steer you wrong. Harry has no interest in talking you into more then you need. But don't forget about the rear. SUA setup should be planned for.

I'll have to give him a call. I wasn't really planning on a spring under swap, though.

With out it, it is very difficult to get a good ride from SOA. It might even be something to consider before doing anything to the front.
