Tried Velcro on ours... ended up popping off when the cab got hot. 3M heavy duty trim tape to the rescue. ;)

Mine gets much better mileage and runs betterin the summer/warm weather... Mileage might be because of the winter vs summer gas blend but that doesn't explain how much smoother it runs....

Who cares about gas mileage when you don't drive much lol looks like it stays parked more than it gets driven, I get 21-23 on the highway with my 2.7 but i also have a small lift, 265/75/16 AT's and a mid rise topper with gear. My guess is with the topper and stuff in the bed about 400-450lbs, that gas mileage you get is crazy good. You should look into a tune i bet you can squeak out another 1-1.5, it helped my mpg and overall driveability

    Hi TW!

Long time lurker first time poster. I wanted to say thanks to many of you for tips and inspiration on everything from mods to maintenance.

Here’s a couple photos of my 2016 OR. I recently upgraded the lights to HID’a and replaced the cheese grater with a TREX grille…still need to add the Toyota emblem since the OEM one doesn’t fit. I put in the Katzkin seat covers a few years back, the cloth seats really didn’t hold up.

Just hit 120k miles and it’s time for me to do a suspension + tires/wheels upgrade. I’m getting bids on various setups but would appreciate any advice!

My use has been a mix of highway, rough logging roads, beaches and raw undeveloped land. I also do a lot of driving in the different types of snow all over the northwest.

It’s been a dream to own.

Hello! Nice first post, btw. I would consider changing your PCV valve, I understand that at about 120k miles it might be worth your wild.:hattip:

I’m definitely not worried about it. Just a little ribbing. Didn’t mean to offend. Just having a little fun. Should’ve put a question mark after “ does it really matter “. JK! I really enjoy your posts and dig your build. Didn’t mean anything by it. I’m all apologies.

Probably not the best example of an ethical company. Just saying; but I do love your enthusiasm for ethical businesses.
