Just like Tacoma with $6000 worth of gear from the CaliRaised catalog isn’t an overlander?

This is what the AC fan boys will be buying instead of the 2 door 4th gen.

Just checking in again. Has Toyota released the 2024 Tacoma Hybrid fuel tank capacity yet?

…crossing my fingers that they haven’t dropped it…

I’m sure we can all appreciate the “what is a truck” debate that’s been going on since the El Camino, but maybe it’s time for Toyota to release some additional details that are more interesting to discuss, like wire gauge or paint thickness...throw us a bone here before some start migrating over to the Ridgeline forum.

Dooooood…you’re not even in the market are you? Thought you want a BEV car that got 300 mile range?

4th Gen is kinda off my list, but still might have a 2% chance. Waiting to see the msrp on the SR5 DCLB. Mainly here for the bullshit sessions to make the work day go faster. :)

Out of topic for a bit, do you think at this stage it would be a good idea to buy a 2023 4runner or too long in the tooth? asking for a friend

If you’re okay with the older engine and tech, no. It’s got fantastic functionality and reliability, even if it is a little expensive.

They are proven and have all the latest electronic tech, probably would’ve a bad move. Though if it were me, would wait and see what that new Land Cruiser is going to be. Guessing it is going to be a rebadged Lexus GX 550.

@batacoma might be right on them discontinuing the 4Runner altogether, and just go with the new LC. Stranger things have happen!

I asked him to wait for the LC but his point is that there is no way the LC will be less that 50k for a regular equipped 4x4. He is looking at sr5/trd off road ( non premium)

And a bed with a truck on it has crushed springs.

You’re probably right about it not being under $50K.

Really can’t go wrong with the 4Runner, a bit long in the tooth isn’t bad thing. Rather have something that is proven than something newer with a bunch of unknowns.

I'm guessing right now it is going through EPA trials, and won't release a lot more until they can release MPG estimates? Won't be but a month or two until the entire line and all specs hit the Webosphere.
