spent a couple hours in the Rhinelander AT&T store today. Also quite a bit of time wandering around your neck of the woods. It is different from Lake Superior and I like it!

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
So...new rear shocks inbound...almost new Dobinsons...and I may have bought a used u-bolt flip kit with DuroBumps. Waiting to see if payment details will work out. :spending:

I successfully carped the diem today. Took my youngest out to tigerton on a day trip. Just rolled in half hour ago. It was nice to have the man-child with me for a little help spotting here and there.

I knew it was just a day trip, but we booked the good campground site just to have a place to relax, eat lunch, and cook up some dinner. Also, best damn steaks ever!

Didn’t think this was a bad deal for a quality rear bumper with the swing outs.

should the small dent in this bumper deter me from buying it?

Awesome! I can't wait to get up there with everybody in August!

Also, I suddenly have a strong urge to grill a steak this weekend!

Nice! Did you take her to bro Rock?

Mostly cosmetic, bent tubing will be weaker, it would bend easier if you took a hit at the outer end of the bumper. How much weaker? Couldn't tell you. Not a terrible price but may get expensive getting it to GB.

edit: The concern is that the tube is bent right on a bend. The upper tube isn't damaged, so that's a plus.

Flip kit w/bumps is on the way. Honestly, I have to be running out of things to buy, right?

I'm kind of starting to enjoy this welding stuff. Suddenly a CMC and mounting up those 33's doesn't seem so far away. Downside is I think I broke/hurt some suspension or steering things on the last trip so repairs might price me out of buying a welder for a bit...

Thanks! Not sure yet what I broke, have some new vibes, steering wanders a little (or my mind is playing tricks on me). I had a whole list of things to fix/improve beforehand and I think it si finally telling me it needs more TLC. Downside is I'm busy fixing this clap-trap CRV I bought to be a daily/backup so I can work on the Taco. It's a vicious cycle and it's all my fault lol.
