i think ill shoot for the fall since the wife loves the changing colors

 

I'm up there a good bit, my oldest son, his wife and my 3 grandkids live there, plus my wife and I like to trout fish around there so anytime is a good time for me. I like fall weather myself.

 

I think I'm going to stop in Stillfire or Monkey Wrench brewery on Saturday around 5pm. If anyone is in the area and would like to join.

I could also be talked into Six Bridges.

if anyone is interested got a group going up to tray to camp saturday night and do some wheeling on sunday. If you are interested let me know we are going to an event in clayton that super overland is hosting at the rabun pavilions then we will head to camp when it is over.

 

Where can I find information on this event in Clayton? When I Google rabun pavilions it bring up lake rabun pavilion in Lakemont

 

Can’t help you on the event info, but the pavilions is right next to the library down town.

Haha. Yes it's a great name indeed....lol. there Is some of the most fun wheeling trails around clayton too though if people want meet up there

 

If you get onto Instagram it's super overlands event and he is the one hosting it and it's not the lake Rabun one I can send you the address if need be

 

We will be at the event before it starts and wheeling will be after the event then to camp if you guys are in let me know

Myself, my wife and our youngest went to the food bank event and met @MACKT28. He's a great dude and it was a good event. Lots of really nice trucks. Then we went to Sarah's creek. It was packed. I didn't even find a spot to pop the grill up. So we ened up just eating tuna and crakers off the side of one of the trails. Then went to earls Ford. As soon as I started going over the rocks in the middle of the river my wife said no no no! Which woke up Marigold and she started crying. So I just turned around and left. We back at lake hartwell now to watch the early independence day fireworks. I really want to go back to earls ford with some of you guys. It looked like it was gonna be a little wild on the other side of the water.

 

It’s easier if you just go around the rocks, less chance for damage. It’s pretty easy after the creek crossing. Just leads to a really nice camping spot

 

Oh cool. I should have got out and walked first. It looked deeper away from the rock. Haha

 

Awesome getting to meet you and the wife and baby! I definitely want to try to get a good group maybe everyone in the Georgia area to meet up and hit some trails and some camping.
