Well, it looks like another Toyota got stuck. If you’re on this forum, Tacoma-bro, I’m glad they got you out okay.

Agreed 100%. My computer blocks ads, I just see the uploaded content. But that ultra-dramatic reality-TV editing style precludes any chance of my enjoying their content or even enduring it for a few seconds. The first hollow build-up -- I'm done forever. Heavy D might a great guy, but F that S -- full stop. Tried watching his first crossover video, it was unbearable and I regret not tuning out sooner.

Rory churns out quality content, both on the trail and in the shop, albeit rougher around the edges, but with zero hint of caving to the norms as of yet. I'm finding it a reliable source for the type content I sought -- and often still find -- on Matt's channel. But I have to say, I'm watching Rory's videos first these days. Matt is riding a wave of success, and it seems he can take his channel in new directions if he so wishes. I'm hoping he sticks to producing down-to-earth recoveries and project videos, which is what brought me and probably many of you to his channel over the years. I was alarmed when he started shooting shop videos with stabilized large-sensor cameras last year, but relieved when it wasn't accompanied by a shift towards induced-drama bullshit in editing. Dude still comes off as a family guy rescuing unlucky offroaders, and building custom rigs for the job in his spare time, with a solid supporting cast of real people. But the line is definitely thinning.

Not that my opinion matters. But something's got to keep me wanting to return to Utah, and fretting about it is my most fundamental American right.

I think he said they are going to do a viewer/commenter driven build.
All the comments of "you should have done it this way" or "why didn't you do it like this?"
He's going to do all of that and see how it turns out.

It could have been. It was in a video several weeks ago, so while I remember him say it I don't recall if he winked at the end or not :anonymous:

Well, well, well, it's not always Tacomas getting stuck. Press F for our Tundra brother.

Potentially there could be. If I remember correctly I think there was a conversation between Matt and Heavy D about taking the wrecker up to their shop to help figure out the brake situation. Could happen after the wrecker is done at Chad's Fab

Matt owns all those affiliated channels. He's taking a cut off all of them.

It is one giant inbred cluster.

For the life of me I don't know why they don't run a unimog as heavier off-road wrecker.

Where do you get the info that he owns those other channels?

Way too much talking now, with the other attached folks in these Matt Recovery recovery video's. They used to be fun to watch, but now you have to fast forward through them to avoid all of the unnecessary dialogue.

I have lost interest ever since he finished the wrecker.

Same. Even the wrecker videos were tough to watch by the end as they kept getting longer and longer.

The stuff they’re doing is interesting to watch for 10 minutes, not an hour.

Yeah, they were pretty brutal towards the end which is probably the main reason why I never watched his recovery videos after that. Burnt out on Matt.

It seems like they are doing two types of videos now. They do recovery videos which are relatively short and then build videos which are longer. Pick and choose which ones you want to watch.

I am also burned out. This conversation made me realize I keep ignoring all his uploads these days so I just unsubscribed.
