How are you guys setting up your jacks/jack stands for doing a leaf swap? Going to be doing a swap sometime soon and I'm looking for the optimal setup so as to not crush myself. I have a 3 ton floor jack, 2 jack stands, a hi lift, and the factory bottle jack. My truck is lifted 4 inches so lifting from the frame is a bit tough with the floor jack.

I used 6 ton stands to hold the frame off the ground

As mentioned above, jackstands under frame in front of rear tires, jack under 3rd member to support/control rear axle and do 1 side at a time

For safety, I would double up on stands for each side.

It's certainly "safer", but seems excessive.

Exactly what I did and it worked pretty well. Couple spots it was hard to get the axel lined up but you can get it. Someone mentioned on another thread they used a ratchet strap to get it in place which could be helpful.
