I have a bit for the impact driver that'll work in my drill...not sure why I didn't think of that but it's probably good that I didn't, those chinesium screws are soft.

Finally got around to finishing the decals, mainly the number. Couldn't decide since there was only a 0 and a 6, realized that 9 was an option.

I used to be really into RC drifting a few years ago before I moved away from the local track. Needless to say, the bug bit me again (honestly could never really get over drifting, it was the most fun I had with RC).

I bought a drift car and started building. Chassis is done but damn if the experience didn't sour me. Bad experience with the retailer and the unfinished car just sits.

Anyone getting the Losi Promoto MX bike? I'm so tempted to pre-order one.

Tower Hobbies has a 50% off on Proline wheels/tires for the supermoto setup as well...

I'm considering it. I watched a bunch of videos on it and it's very impressive and well thought out. It seems a lot of development went into getting the design right. Plus, I'm a moto guy and Jeremy Martin is my fav rider, so I feel obligated lol.

Nice! Which one did you get? And I would like to hear your review on it, once you try it out.

It looks like a lot of fun. There is a YouTube channel RCDriver that took it to a short course track. You can clearly see how well balanced it is.

I got the color way pictured without the batteries. I have a few 4000 mah hardcase lipos I think should fit so I'm sticking with those.

Oh, I also caved so quickly because my parents bought me a toy grade RC dirt bike (back in ~2004 or so) when I was a teenager so the nostalgia got me. That one didn't have suspension or even proportional controls but I still loved it.
