All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Finished my rental kitchen! Boom! Bitch is nice for a rental!

Holy crap I am a freaking mess trying to figure out what to do about a truck. I go from used to new to used to new. Aaahhhrrrggg!! I don’t want to pay new prices and I don’t want to pay used prices.
Well I did find a USED 2021 access cab 2wd 4cyl (like the new one I was going to put a deposit on as soon as it was built) for a good price. It would be $12,000 less than new but with 25,000 miles on it. I think I can live with paying that much less for a used truck. I am going to look at it on Saturday. I am hoping it checks out and I can stop beating my head against the wall and have a good truck that will last and haul my bike to the track.
Also I am going to rant again. Why do people put things up for sale then leave fucking town?? I don’t get it??? I have literally tried to purchase at least 5 different Toyota trucks I the last month and 5 have been either out of town, busy or don’t respond. WTH is wrong with people??? I just sold a 2023 Zx10r and a 2022 TRD off road in less than a week each. I don’t play games, I don’t put things up for sale then leave town. I don’t fucking get it. Super frustrated with humanity these days. Ok deep breathe and relax!!! Umfraba!!

Nice. I like the industrial vibe. Is it an air bnb type rental or long term unit?

It was gonna be an AirB&B, then a buddy of mine offered me good money to stay there. So I was like shit, this is a no brained.

Mixing tires could cause issues IF you’re not careful. Bias tires, like the AX41, are usually made with nylon/Kevlar cords. Radials, like the A41, have steel cords that run in a “straight” line from bead to bead, perpendicular to the path of travel. Tires with different speed/load ratings will react in different ways as you increase speed.

Some heavy cruisers (HD Breakout/Rocker and Yamaha Star Raider) can get away with mixing the two because they have smaller lean angles (~26 degrees) and larger rake angles (34-37 degrees) when compared to the average. IE they turn slow and have poor cornering characteristics already (bike ability = rider skill)

The light R6 has a max lean angle of ~57 degrees and rake of ~24 degrees. IE the bikes turn quickly and have the ability to corner aggressively (bike ability > rider skill). The small progressive changes in tire diameter paired with different handling characteristics would be most noticeable when riders push their limits. All of this is before looking at the types of rubber comping used, heat dissipation, tread pattern and wear. Even with my higher than normal risk tolerance, I wouldn’t personally run or recommend mixed (bias/radial) tires.

TLDR - I wouldn’t do if I could reasonably avoid it. On an ADV bike that strictly follows the speed limit and sees a fair bit of off-road use, you probably won’t die from mixing the two.

Get the 125FB, a few hundred more but way more fun.

my rear tire is a Shinko 805. I havent looked up the specs of it.

im looking to change brands up front. Would like to keep it under $120 (so that rules out Motoz for now) for a 90/90-21. Im specifically looking for a 40/60 on/off or maybe another 50/50

slightly over your 120 budget, but IMHO saving 50 bucks on something like tires is silly... so.

just a couple of things tbh
sooooooo hey guys i gots a story for ya!

my clutch has been slipping for a bit now but nothing bad so ive just been waiting for it to go out (ya ya i should have just replaced it bla bla lol) well as i was on my way into work i was on the highway getting ready to merg to the other highway and i was in 4th and it felt like it was loosing power (slipping) so i shifted to 5th using the clutch and it felt gummy? idk how to explain it but the shift felt odd but i was close to work so i rode the 5mins to work and i kept feeling the bike try to go faster but it wouldnt. as i got off the highway i shifted to 4th and wellll it stuck in 4th.... the shift wasnt a solid feel it felt squishy/gummy and then wouldnt leave 4th.... holding the clutch at the light the bike still wanted to die... but after i got it going up to speed (not the easiest on a hill in 4th) i was able to shift without the clutch just fine but when ever i pulled the clutch it would stick and hold what ever gear it was in and then release again and start to slip again....

i did make it to work and the bike is sitting outside i have found transportation for me and the bike after work but it looks like my clutch that i figured would only last a few more thousand miles did in fact last only a few more thousand miles haha
