Nope. Tabasco and only tabasco. There are a couple diners down here in FL that I have been to, they only have Crystal. I carry a bottle of tabasco for just those occasions. I wont eat eggs with out it unless I am the one cooking them in bacon grease.

Tabasco sauce is special to me, because in Third Grade, our teacher had a one day a week Cooking lesson. She taught us to make simple foods. One day was some variety of Mexican food, and she brought in bottles of Tabasco sauce, as most of my classmates were of Hispanic descent (I grew up in south central Los Angeles). I had heard of it, but never had it. My mom/family didn't use any sort of spicy/hot sauces at all. Well, one taste, and I was hooked. When I got home that afternoon, I made my mom buy me a bottle of Tabasco sauce the next time she went to the grocery store. And.... the rest is history. I've been a chili-head ever since.

Tabasco is not my favorite in terms of either heat, or taste. It has way too much vinegar fo rme, but it will always have that special place in my taste buds/heart. Although I still use Tabasco quite often.

For flavor, my favorites are Cholula and Pico Pica. Both very low on the heat index, but I love their flavor. For heat, I prefer habanero based at the least.

I have no less than 4 spare bottles in the pantry at any given time. I can drink that shit, love the taste, I love vinegar and the heat is just right for what I put it on. I can easily go hotter, I just love the flavor, it's a staple in my cooking.

Way back at my first IT job (1992 - 2010) we had several buildings and 2 cafeterias. They always seemed to run out of Tabasco, so I started buying my own Costco size bottle and kept in my cube at work. I put a label on it with my name on it so no one would think I swiped it from the cafeteria. I used it quite regularly :)

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I absolutely love Cholula but you're right. It's too low on the heat index.

I have Cholula and this right now.

Remember when this was a sport and you’d get it back after delivering a roasted pig or other cooked meat offering and then everyone would party and have the most offical-ish drunken guidon return ceremony and everyone would part on good terms knowing that a week later the hunt would begin again?

Damn, I missed all the fun shit when I was in. Of course at NTC when I was there, we had a couple companies of Infantry, one, maybe 2 companies of armor, and my Maintenance company. And the armor / infantry units were always in the field playing NATO vs Warsaw Pact war games against visiting units, as this was still back in the days of the Soviet Union. Of course, maybe they did play this kind of shit with each other out in the field.... LOL

People that wear those style of shirts make me laugh. So desperate for attention they whore themselves out like a fool.

Pretty much all of them. If they’re subtle or a unit t-shirt it’s not bad but the full back print shit is ridiculous. Those just scream out “hey, thank me for my service”.
