Screenshot_20230620-070428_Chrome.jpgWhat about this guy I think they do the same work as SCOL for way les.
Maybe because SCOL is in California and everything overtheir every thing cost way more!

I rented out my spring compressor that I built myself for cam install. Once I get it back, I'd be happy to rent it out again for anyone who would like to use it.

Jon Bond did my s/c rebuild a year or two ago, Quality work but not the greatest at communication or timeline. Per my back and forth with them only one guy in shop did our model and I got the impression he didn’t work full time so it took a while longer than expected when he got busy.

Not that it matters much anymore but the exhaust sound with URD long tube headers paired to the factory Y with secondary cats, stock muffler and a dump at the axle is very mild. From the cab you can't hear any difference in the exhaust over the whine of the magnuson.

Should I just rotate this clamp or should it be zip tied to the hardline coming out of the firewall?

Thanks @Lucario Runner, wasn't sure if I should zip tie it too...belt and suspenders since it still sits close with the clamp rotated.

I rotated the clamp and put some thick almost padded electrical tape around them for good measure too.

That the one that has rubbed into some people's SC bodies? I rotated the clamp and covered mine with a cut up chunk of hose.

I rotated and added a zip tie. On my truck the hose was rubbing through, on my dad’s truck it wasn’t. So I would just check it out and see if you need something to stop it from rubbing on the housing.

Yes - it had rubbed at small noticeable area through the SC coating. Luckily not deep or through it yet.

Mine was rubbing ever so slightly. I never had a big issue with mine like some of you did yours.

Also, I just got another report of another member having issues with his RIPP coils. Same issue several of us had, I think his was a P0352...

Were they the ones specifically for the Tacoma?

I believe they were for the T4R.

It's the same crap honestly. If you think they changed the circuitry for the Tacoma coils for a minute then that's blind optimism. No offense brother. Lol.

Yeah I guess you're right. Simultaneously my greatest strength and greatest weakness.

I’m thinking either a shitty batch from them, or a shitty product. We will know once people have been running the tacoma specific ones for the same amount of time as the 4runner ones. And if they start failing in the same way then well I think we know what that means lol
