Pretty good. Not great but couldnt muster the 5 hour drive to WV like I had planned so it was a good 2nd place lol.

I just used OnX to find them, all the ones I took were on there. I will say I didnt have to air down or take any other precautions even though we went through some fairly serious ruts. On the James Rd trail specifically. For reference, I'm just on 33's but do have basic armor (skid plate, gas tank skid, high clearance bumper and sliders)

Camping is a miss though, I've yet to find a good spot in the National Forest. I know some people have had good luck but I just havent been one of those lol. Over the last month I've probably spent 8-10 hours driving around looking for trails and camp spots.

I want to get this style bumper (back and forth on full plate or tube)...I really like the SSO one but didn't know if there were any other options that were similar? Also the lead time is like 20 weeks right now if I order direct. Are there any local shops to find a bumper at?

Body Armor makes one you can put wings on. That’s what I have on my truck.

Yeah I have looked a bit at those. I can’t find one without a bull bar that didn’t have more holes in it than Swiss cheese unless I am overlooking it. I saw the highline without the bull bar but so many holes for crap to get in.

I assume you don’t want to put a light bar in it?

Can you make and weld some plates to wrap a back bumper around the rear fender? Lol.

That is interesting. When would eventually be :)?

not really. Maybe I’m a fool for not wanting to but I don’t feel like I need one.

Don’t blame you there. I put one in just to fill the space lol. I don’t actually feel like it does much as far as light goes since I have ditch lights and a 43in light bar up top.

That’s what I have thought but I’m not that experienced. I plan to have ditch lights and maybe a top bar.
Sounds like one of my projects.

don’t get me wrong, it helps. It’s just a matter of how much lol. It’s definitely brighter than the headlights but it’s also aimed right at where the headlights are pointed.

Are the Body Armor made in the US? I though I read something that they were from China?

Just based on price point alone I’m going to say it’s not an American made product.

Ugh I would hate to not support US steel. Also would worry me about strength.

Unless someone specifically says they use US steel, I’d be willing to bet they don’t. China makes perfectly fine steel, definitely good enough to make attention a product pulling 10,000+lbs if needed.

Sorry I didn’t write clearly. Yeah steel quality is probably fine. I just prefer to support US steel workers and fabricators. It’s the fabrication quality that I would question.

I’d prefer to also support US tradesman but when the price points are 500 vs 2000, that’s a tough pill to swallow haha.
