    Little cutting, drilling, and bending.

Customer wanted a clean way to mount an amp and crossovers for his full system. Can't go against the inside plastic panels cause the components are too big. That and it'll look ghetto. But also can't go in the rear as the width (wheel well to wheel well) will be taken up by the sub box.

Skeleton will get MDF mounted to it, with amp mounted on that and facing inward.

    20230623_091039.jpg

Made these mounts to utilize existing mounting points in the vehicle normally used for 3rd row seating.

    20230623_114753.jpg

    Mounts in place; fucking mint.

    20230623_103702.jpg

Just need to figure welding the plate to said mounts while keeping it level with the side glass.

    20230623_103734.jpg

Reason for the openings is to maintain clean wiring, meaning the crossovers will mount to the backside of the MDF through those openings.

This is all he sent as far as how he wants it mounted.

It works though I did find sparks will melt through those plastic tubes.

Helpers not aiming sparks in a good direction .

    Product delivered.

Below while I mocked up the final fitment; bent 1/2" solid rod as that would not only provide a lot of strength, but keep a clean aesthetic over square tube -

    Finished product -

As mentioned in my own post above, MDF will be attached to the front of this panel for rigidity and a solid mounting platform for the amps and crossovers.

Doesn’t cost a lot to have an electrician come out and run 220/240 to your garage for ya.

Without knowing how far a run it would be.

If the Main service even has room in the box.

Might be a large amount to spend on a rental property.

Getting Permission from the land lord might back fire leading to No welding in the garage or a rent increase for the added insurance.

If he owns it, his home owner's insurance should cover it at no added cost.

The added cost would be for some sort of disaster fire coverage, just like hail damage for home owner's in Texas.

But he if he's renting, same thing regarding renter's insurance.
